Gain hands-on experience during your employment
The programme consists of three consecutive 8-month rotations in three different HR related positions. In these you will work with experienced colleagues to seek and understand the operations and strategies of HR in a global environment. During the programme you will be employed in the HR organisation in one of our business units.

Networking across our international business units
Our experience tells us mutual understanding among our employees increases motivation and problem-solving capabilities. As a participant you will interact and cooperate with the several departments and business units from around the world throughout the programme.

Through this process you will come to understand the overall business areas of the A. P. Moller - Maersk Group. You will also have a unique opportunity to build strong networks in other areas of the business – and the world.

Gain research-based knowledge and understanding of people and organisations
Four times during the programme you meet up with your fellow MIHR colleagues from across the globe in-2 week intense research training modules. Here you will meet the many and diverse perspectives of HR in order to further develop and scope your knowledge of your professional field and strengthen your ability to qualify and evaluate HR knowledge.

Project assignments
The best management consultants and HR leaders of the future are eloquent analytical and creative problem solvers, who know how to think globally while acting locally. Three project assignments between the modules give you the opportunity to develop your analytical and creative problem solving skills together with your MIHR colleagues in internationally diverse working groups.

Through sparring and interaction with colleagues across cultures, religions, ideologies and languages the assignments train your ability to frame the most rigorous problems, define the right methods, collect the relevant information - and analyse, synthesize and evaluate the quality of your findings and conclusions.
Each assignment is kicked-off and ‘owned’ by senior business managers in the Group. They will also be the one to give you feedback and feed-forward on the quality and applicability of your work. The last assignment will be part of your final exam on the programme.

The project assignments will support your ability to understand and connect topics on the research training agenda with your on-the-job experience and reflections during your rotations.
