Corporate education and training

We are constantly developing and updating our education programmes so they meet the needs of employees and the organisation. We also work together with many of the world’s leading organisations and international educational institutions to offer our employees the best possible development opportunities.

Our development opportunities range from training courses spanning a number of years for shipping people, ship’s officers and technical managers, to shorter courses on a number of diverse subjects.

A.P. Moller - Maersk’s local departments also run tailor-made courses that meet specific needs within their business areas.

Some employees also attend open courses at leading educational institutes all over the world.

By prior agreement and where further education is deemed relevant to the job holder’s current or future work within the organisation, we will reimburse the cost of books and study fees.

  • Personal skills training, including negotiation and problem solving, presentation skills, marketing and sales techniques
  • IT, including Internet, Microsoft Office products and graphics applications
  • Finance and accounting, including finance for non-financial managers, and a selection of international finance courses
